ProteC-19: Face Shields

Description
Protec-19 face shields are acrylic shields designed to provide protection against COVID-19 infection, specifically for healthcare workers and frontliners during the pandemic. These face shields are easy to manufacture and assemble, utilizing minimal materials while ensuring maximum protection, making them a cost-effective solution. Manufactured in the DIDI lab during the April 2019 COVID-19 lockdown, the shields were donated to hospitals in the UAE to support frontline workers in their fight against the virus.
Sana Mohamed, Aditi Monga, Nikhilesh Mohan, and Noor Alfahim collaborated on the project.
